Brief description of the project: The Mediterranean basin is characterized by economic inequalities and the well-being of populations between European countries and their neighbors. The population in the non-European Mediterranean countries (MPCs) grows at a rate four times higher than in European Mediterranean countries (EUMCs), the per capita wealth in significantly lower MPCs to the EUMCs, which further enhances the inequalities in the region and Influences migratory movements. In this context, it is a priority to find solutions to the economic revitalization and job creation, investing in Euro-Mediterranean partnership based on transnational networks, with special focus on MSMEs that are a large part of the business in the region, promoting cultural values, products Sites and heritage that characterize the lifestyle of the Mediterranean basin. The Mediterranean lifestyle is a cultural, historic, social, territorial and environmental, which has been transmitted from generation to generation for centuries
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: • Definition of the MED Lyfe Style concept across the whole region • Development of cooperation between border countries • Creation and stimulation of economic activities and new jobs • Design of integrated approaches to sustainable development for the heritage, culture and the arts associated with the lifestyle • Mediterranean lifestyle Disclosure in order to boost tourism and export of traditional products of the Mediterranean basin • Creation of a platform to revitalize the MED route
Résultats attendus: I. Identify the MED lifestyle transversal principles II. Develop interregional governance structures III. Develop strategies for creating and developing sustainable economic partnerships IV. Encourage participatory entrepreneurship within Cultural and Creative Industries, V. Create and manage the MED Lyfe Style brand, VI. Design of future sustainability model of the project, VII. Definition of support teams for management support to MPMEs
