Brief description of the project: The proposed project is based on the concept of “Tracking & Accountability for Humanitarian Aid Distribution” and aims at alleviating fraudulent attempts or loss of humanitarian aid along the supply chain, thus insuring end-to-end accountability of aid distribution from provider to end-user. Tracking and Accountability will be achieved leveraging blockchain technology, which will ensure stakeholders are perceived as unique entities and thus accountable for their contribution. Thus, goods will be tracked with unique identifiers making sure that logistics and supply chain operates according to agreements and contracts.
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: The project has the overall objective of enhancement of the trust, security, tracking and accountability of humanitarian aid distribution through blockchain technology.
