This section features all the latest news about the call for strategic projects launched in May 2011. The call addresses six topics chosen by the Joint Monitoring Committee based on their potential for the development of cooperation in the Mediterranean area. These are: agro-food industry, sustainable tourism, integrated coastal zone management, water management, waste treatment and recycling, solar energy. Budget available is € 75.6 million. 50 proposals were preselected out of 300 Concept Notes and invited to submit a Full Application Form. The evaluation process is ongoing.
