PR.I.ME: kick-off meeting

The project " PR.I.ME " (PRomoting Intergenerational learning in MEditerranean countries) funded under the second call for standard projects was officially launched on 20th  February in Rome (Italy).

PR.I.ME in brief:

The project aims at supporting the intergenerational learning and business transfer in the Gold/Silversmithing and Gemmology sector. The project encourages cross-fertilisation amongst regional identities by fostering professionalism of younger generations and clustering talents at the Mediterranean Basin level.

 PR.I.ME  is coordinated by the Roman Institute for the Entrepreneurial Training – IRFI, Italy (Lazio) with the participation of the following organizations:

  1. Association of Silversmiths & Jewellery Manufactures  - SVA, Attiki (Greece);
  2.  Private Vocational Training Institute - MOKUME,  Kentriki – Makedonia(Greece);
  3. OMEGA Technology, Attiki (Greece);
  4. Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon – BML (Lebanon);
  5.  Business Incubation Association in Tripoli – BIAT (Lebanon);
  6.  Notre Dame University – Louaize – NDU, (Lebanon);
  7. Jewellery Technology Centre – JTC, al-Iskandariyah (Egypt).

PR.I.ME total budget is € 819.071,00 including € 737.163,90 as Programme contribution (90%).
