See ancient Alexandria with new eyes

Following the huge success of last summer event in Byblos with thousands of viewers, "I AM" project reached Alexandria in Egypt on the occasion of its second "augmented reality" show.

On 21 and 22 May 2014, a 3D video mapping was projected on the façade of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the major library and cultural center in the Mediterranean area. The performance, combining sound and lighting effects with virtual and digital elements, offered a journey to over 2.000 viewers through the history of Alexandria with highlights on the city’s main attractions. The event was included in the calendar of United Nations World Tourism Organization.
