Thematic objective: A.3 Promotion of social inclusion and the fight against poverty
Priority: Priority A.3.1 Provide young people, especially those belonging to the NEETS, and women, with marketable skills
Brief description of the project: By analyzing data of unemployed youth in CALABRIA, among the poorest in Europe. Young people aged 30-34 with tertiary ed. 23.9 IT, 37.9 EU; Youth aged 25-34 with at least one upper secondary ed./ training level 73.8 IT, 83.1 EU; Youth aged 18-24 who abandoned prematurely 15.0 IT 11.1 EU. Attention to the numbers, rather than describing situations, consequencies, the negative trend is still hard to end. We need to train youth in workshop and social work in order to provide them with strong motivation by reinforcing their self esteem and creativity. We want to analyze the causes of FAILURE of NEET. Associazione Passaggi is well experienced in carrying learning activities both non formal and informal for young adults. we aim at empowering such activities by training youth people by sharing initiatives on social issues, cultural heritage, old works. Forgotten skills can be enhanced when they encounter innovative methods . Local workers, craftspeople and other experts will train them.
Main objectives – issues to be addressed: Provide young people with strong motivation by reinforcing motivation reasoning, in order to overcome unsuccesful study experience, job loss, first employing falure. foster individual and social self exteem. Reinforce pre-existing skills.Reinforce motivation for facing obstacles both psycological and economic. Create the right learning environment in order to foster youth motivation
Expected results: Incerease the number of youth work. Increase the quality of youth education.
