Projects Selection Committee

Established by the Joint Monitoring Committee, the Projects Selection Committee is responsible for the evaluation of projects. In particular, it is in charge of the:
• assessment of projects and preparation of a ranking of the proposals according to the selection criteria approved by the Joint Monitoring Committee;
• submission of the list of selected projects and evaluation report to the Joint Monitoring Committee for approval.

The Projects Selection Committee is set up for each call for proposals and is composed of:
• a president representing the Joint Managing Authority, without voting right;
• a secretary, member of the Joint Managing Authority, without voting right;
• seven voting members representing seven countries participating in the Programme.

Voting members are appointed by the Joint Monitoring Committee, on the basis of a rotation mechanism ensuring a balance between EU Mediterranean Countries and Mediterranean Partner Countries.

First call for proposals: Egypt, Greece, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestinian Authority, Portugal, Spain.
