Capitalization: a process aiming to enhance, exchange and diffuse the achievements of the Programme
Upon decision of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC), the Joint Managing Authority (JMA) has launched in 2012 a capitalisation process of the most significant experiences and achievements under the 2007-2013 ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme.
This activity aims to ensure systematic management of the knowledge gained in the framework of the Programme. It entails a process of gathering and analysing of the good practices and lessons learnt with the objective of making the results and findings available to all concerned actors by means of specific tools/events of communication.
The capitalisation is conducted at two levels:
• Programme level, with a view to assessing and optimizing the main management and implementation processes;
• Project level, in order to identify and enhance the results reached by those initiatives which have been granted financial support under the Programme.
This section of the website focuses on the "project" dimension of the capitalisation process. In this regards, five specific objectives will be pursued in order to:
• Identify the good practices emerged from the funded projects;
• Create synergies between projects in order to foster exchanges of common interests on challenges and needs;
• Ensure that results and findings are diffused and transferred to a large number of stakeholders by means of specific tools/events;
• Foster the establishment of new competitive alliances able to address the emerging needs of the cooperation area;
• Contribute to the definition of the strategy of the ENI CBC Med Programme for the period 2014-2020.
