Brief description of the project: The project to be developed with ENI CBCMED funding proposes to plan, design and implement good practices to promote sustainable use of water resources and organic waste management in a small agricultural community in the Mediterranean basin.
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: > Wireless Sensor Network based Water Well Management System for precision agriculture > Experimental gardening for the application of precision agriculture >High quality compost production and data monitoring by means of an app > Integrated System of Phytodepuration
Résultats attendus: The project aims to improve a worldwide water management model throughout the Mediterranean basin, considering the component of agricultural production (eg olive oil production)It is situated at the intersection between research, climate change and environmental and agriculture policies; and illustrates the new development co-operation model promoted by the new partnership framework, insofar as it associates private investors, mobilizes limited budget resources.
