Brief description of the project: The enhancement of professional skills of young graduates is a core aim of the Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 (priority A.1.1). Young graduates (engineers, agronomists, economists, lawyers etc) are probably very good scientists in their field, but usually don't have the managerial skills to start their own business or to work as business executives. This fact is an important disadvantage of theirs in the labor market, leading to high unemployment rates and brain-drain phenomena The MENTOR project aims at bridging this gap and providing to new graduates professional skills, not directly relative with their scientific field but absolutely necessary for their careers The main idea of the project is to provide those skills on both, theoretical and practical level by e-training, mentoring and internships pilot implementations
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: The MENTOR project aims at providing to new graduates professional skills, not directly relative with their scientific field but absolutely necessary for their careers
Résultats attendus: - Enhancement of professional skills to 360 new graduates (60 per partner) - 150 trained mentors (25 per partner) forming a transnational mentors' registry - Networking
