The Great-Med project produced this document to assess the progress of the ICZM Protocol with the following main objectives6:
- Report approaches/initiatives around the Mediterranean related to articles 7, 8and 18 of the ICZM Protocol for the Mediterranean and to climate change;
- Summarize a selected number of the most successful case studies in Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) around the Mediterranean Basin;
- Link such case studies to the ICZM Protocol for the Mediterranean.
