Brief description of the project: The project “DMO_MED” aims to the creation of new cross-regional touristic products within the Mediterranean Basin, by creating a DMO – Destination Marketing Organization to coordinate and synergize the efforts of local actors.
Main objectives – issues to be addressed: - Creating the premises for a sustainable development of tourism within the Mediterranean Basin through defining the integrated destination marketing concept and creating the standards (methods, tools, procedures, brands). - Developing the specific skills and competencies for public and private actors and their staff in the fields of tourism in order to comply with international standards - Developing innovative tools and solutions to efficiently promote the destinations within the area
