Brief description of the project: The project aims in the creation and support of low or near zero CO2 emission enterprises due to energy use.
Main objectives – issues to be addressed: The main objective of this project is to assist the creation of low or near zero CO2 emissions enterprises due to energy use in MED area organizing a network or a cluster of eco-friendly companies and promoting them. It will present and promote the appropriate and cost effective sustainable energy technologies and the existing or the new innovative financial tools which could support the necessary energy investments in enterprises for achieving this target.
Expected results: 1. Creation of a network of enterprises with low or zero CO2 emissions due to energy use, 2. Creation of a portofolio of the appropriate sustainable and cost effective energy technologies which could be used in various enterprises in order to decrease their carbon footprint, 3. Creation of a portofolio of the existing and the innovative financial tools promoting sustainable energy investments in enterprises.
