Priority: Priority A.1.1 Support innovative start-ups and recently established enterprises, with a particular focus on young and women entrepreneurs, and facilitate the protection of their intellectual property rights and commercialisation where applicable
Brief description of the project: The aim of the project is to support young and female managers of recently established innovative SMEs to enter new markets either in the country they are operating in or abroad.
Main objectives – issues to be addressed: The main objective is to provide to innovative MSMEs customized internationalisation support services aiming to facilitate their introduction to new markets through a ‘soft landing’ programme. This programme, consisting of 4 phases, aims to accelerate the internationalisation strategy of the innovative MSMEs by identifying their specific needs and providing customized support.
Expected results: The expected result of the project will be an increase in the share of young (24 – 35 years old) and female (all ages) staff in managerial positions in recently established companies (since 2011) that can access and develop innovative markets, domestically and/or in other MED countries and/or have direct access to the targeted MSMEs.

Partners searched: Business incubators and accelerators, innovation centres, clusters, networks of investors, related government departments. Chrysses Nicolaides of CNE Business Development Ltd is the Coordinator of the project.
