Brief description of the project: Raising awareness among farmers and consumers about organic farming
Main objectives – issues to be addressed: Establishment of “organic farming field schools” through providing training on organic production techniques with gender focus on local women Capacity building of agricultural extension officers in organic production techniques and farm conversion into organic farming
Expected results: Convert selected local farms into organic production Assist selected farmers in obtaining an organic farming certificate
