Water Harvesting for Developing Agricultural and pastoral areas

Brief description of the project: Most of the Mediterranean countries suffered from fresh water shortage problems. Because the water resources face troubles of shortage and droughts occurring in several countries all over the world specially in the Mediterranean countries.The surface water (i.e springs, streams ) and atmospheric water (i.e rainwater, water coming from the melting of snow and from the fog), has always been considered an important source of fresh water supply. This Project will try to solve some of these problems through different systems of water collection and rainwater harvesting.
Main objectives – issues to be addressed: The main objectives of this project: - Collecting the atmospheric water - Looking for a streams and springs over the specific regions - Collecting the water that coming from springs and streams - Developing the rural regions (Agriculture and pastoral areas)
Expected results: - collect large amount of water at the rural areas - Encourage people to work in livestock breeding - Localization of people in rural areas - Reduce the consumption of non-renewable groundwater
