An incubator & accelerator for young entrepreneurs and youth-owned SMEs

Priorité: Priorité A.1.1 Soutenir les start-ups innovantes et les entreprises récemment créées, avec un accent particulier sur les jeunes et les femmes entrepreneurs, et faciliter la protection de leurs droits de propriété intellectuelle et de commercialisation, le cas échéant
Brève description du projet : This project focus will be on building and strengthening youth-owned SMEs in Egypt’s Agribusiness, Food, and Ready Made Garments sectors, through increased competitiveness and linkages to local and international markets. In order to achieve the outcomes of ensuring the participation of youth-owned SMEs in training activities, incubation and access to international markets and value chains with increased revenue, profitability, and firm growth, as well as improving the knowledge and skills of young entrepreneurs in relation to business practices and exports, the proposed action will offer a comprehensive business support program ranging from incubation services, export business training, coaching and mentoring, institutional support, facilitating access to finance, and facilitating market linkages with potential buyers, partners and investors.
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: Increase competitiveness of youth-owned small and medium-sized enterprises in priority sectors (Agribusiness, Food and Ready Made garments). While the specific objectives are: (A) to support young entrepreneurs to establish and grow their own business. (B) To support young entrepreneurs to be connected to international markets and global value chains.
Résultats attendus: 1.Young people enhance their knowledge and skills related to business practices. 2.Young people able to start their own businesses. 3.Youth-owned SMEs get access to global value chains.
