Brève description du projet : MADEinMED has as its main goal the strengthening of olive oil producers in the Mediterranean Area. Apart from some companies of excellence, many small-sized companies in the sector, because of the impossibility of placing themselves on the market directly, must sell their product of the highest quality to "commercial" companies that then sell the oil with different brands. In fact, the purpose of the project is to strengthen the agricultural economies which, despite EU aid, are unable to consortium or coordinate common activities. Important goals include the dissemination of quality production procedures, thanks to an exchange of successful experiences of affiliated companies and a pool of experts available to the project, which will study, support and direct the work and the development of its participants.
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: - Develop a set of actions for research, selection, training and inclusion of oil producers within the Consortium - Creation of a Team of consultants and experts in the Agricultural Labor Market - Creation of a team of experts on olive production, to support young producers - Creation of a team of business consultants and agrarian, marketing & communication experts for support to start-up phases. - Realization of actions for the involvement of international excellence companies
Résultats attendus: - Establishment of “Made in Mediterranean Oil Consortium” - Creation of the “Oil Made in Mediterranean” brand - Involvement of public authorities for the coordination of integrated actions in terms of structural investments, young entrepreneurship, etc. - Give strong impetus for the development of sector public policies in the targeted area across the agricultural sector - Create a mentoring and technical support service at the project level and at the level of the individual countries
