Brève description du projet : Network for an efficient use of the water as public good. The development of advanced tools for the analysis of water distribution networks is the key element for its efficient and sustainable management. The progressive deterioration and the adoption of inadequate management strategies,due to hydraulic analyzes not consistent with the real functioning of systems, put at risk the economic and social value of today's infrastructure. The project addresses this issues.
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: The NET-WAT project is part of this scenario by addressing four main themes: 1. Experimental study of background water losses in relation to possible influencing factors; 2. Non-invasive maintenance of distribution systems; 3. development of an advanced network simulation model that allows the representation of backdrop water losses 4. Spreading a culture on the use of water as public good, which everyone should not waste
Résultats attendus: Improvement of the functioning of the water distribution networks as key factor for water efficient and sustainable management
