To reduce the energy consumption of fossil origin in hospital centres through energy rehabilitation

Brève description du projet : The project will develop a complete learning process to facilitate an effective knowledge flow among regions, with a bottom-up approach methodology, counting on the regional stakeholder groups. The key innovative aspect of the project is its multidisciplinary approach in the frame of the sustainable building sector, including financial schemes, capacity building, innovation, awareness raising. Taking into account this context, the building park of the health field is a propitious environment to promote innovative energy rehabilitation. Energy consumption to maintain the quality requirements in a hospital is very high, both to achieve the thermal levels that are needed in each area, as well as to guarantee the electricity supply necessary for the development of the different activities carried out 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: The general objective of the project is to facilitate innovative energy rehabilitation in health centres through energy saving and efficiency and renewable energy.
Résultats attendus: -To identify innovative technological solutions for energy saving and efficiency, and renewable energy, especially aimed at hospital centres. -To analyse non-conventional financing formulas, such as innovative public procurement in hospital centres, or energy performance contracts. -To improve the technical training of maintenance units relating to energy, and in general, to raise the awareness of all public employees of health centres on the use of energy.
