Brève description du projet : SMEs in Palestine face many barriers and challenges that prevent them from success, and all of them are due to the lack of experience, knowledge and, most importantly, guidance that, unfortunately, are not available in a professional way in Gaza. since SMEs form the greatest portion of the Gazan market, the project aims to start a hub, responsible for linking the local SMEs with experienced people; whether they are from the university’s staff or the local public, and providing guidance, consultancy, advices and anything else needed in order to increase their success probability and help them overcome the challenge. In other words, the project aims to connect the SMEs with the appropriate guidance and knowledge needed through the hub.
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: • To serve as the economic development arm of the university by working with SMEs. • To establish collaborations and working relationships between SMEs and each of the research and creative areas of the university by clustering them. • To promote the transfer of Knowledge idea for society’s use and benefit. • To Support innovation and value generation.
Résultats attendus: • New avenues of management are initiated toward future vision to be radically different from present day vision of SMEs. • SMEs at Palestine have become leading businesses through center support.
