Brève description du projet : The Social farming model can contribute to create new models of intervention which are able to generate a number of educational and economic benefits, at the same time sustainable and cost- effective. The overall idea of the project is to use the Social farming model to enhance the employability of young people , with a special focus on NEETs and women. The project will provide the participants with marketable skills that will allow them to meet the specific needs of the Mediterranean agribusinesses. Through vocational education in the agricultural sector along with working experiences the project intends to reduce the skills mismatch and foster social and professional integration by means of access to employment.
Objectifs principaux – problèmes à traiter: Training needs assessment in agricultural sector; Targeted trainings courses in agricultural sector; Enhance the attractiveness of the different career opportunities in the agricultural sector ; Enhance the NEETs and women employability providing them with specific skills tailored to the local needs
Résultats attendus: Number of NEETS / women trained Closer connection between agribusinesses and VET system Enhancement of the agricultural potentiality of local rural areas
