Dairy sector: training tools

From March to September 2014, the LACTIMED project organised three training cycles (in Tunisia, Lebanon and Egypt) targeting the actors (SMEs) and support organisations of the dairy chains as well as local authorities, involving 38 speakers and 246 participants . These trainings aimed at reinforcing production and innovation skills of professionals and stak holders while improving public policies supporting this sector, that tends to become strategic for the economic development of Mediterranean countries. The training tools cover various issues of the dairy sector such as technical aspects, distinctive quality signs, commercialisation, clusters, public policies and case studies.
