Lebanon: mentoring for young entrepreneurs in the jewellery sector

Young entrepreneurs in the jewellery sector participated in a training and mentoring scheme organised by PRIME project, at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon. Participants were introduced to innovative schemes that valorise the know-how and experience of senior entrepreneurs in this sector. The programme also included study visits to Rome, Athens, and Thessaloniki, in order to network, exchange experiences and create synergies. The project helped foster the professionalism of younger generations, in order to ensure that valuable skills are not left to disappear but remain strong and vital parts of the economy and cultural heritage of the Mediterranean area.
